Terms of Use – SmartReceipt

By downloading or using the SmartReceipt mobile application (“App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Use of the App

SmartReceipt allows users to upload receipt images and extract information such as store name, date, items, and totals using automated processing.

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Subscriptions and Payments

SmartReceipt offers optional auto-renewable subscription plans, including:

• Monthly subscription (renews every 1 month)

• Annual subscription (renews every 12 months)

The price of each subscription plan is displayed within the app prior to purchase.
Payment will be charged to your account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate selected.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your account subscription settings in your device settings.
If you cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
No refunds will be provided for unused portions of the subscription period unless required by applicable law.
Free trials (if offered) automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial period ends.

Manual Tester Access

During testing phases, some users may be granted access to paid features at no cost for evaluation and feedback purposes. This access may be modified or removed at any time.

AI and OCR Processing

SmartReceipt uses third-party services to process receipt images and extracted text for the purpose of providing app functionality.
Processing accuracy may vary, and extracted information should be reviewed by the user.

Data Accuracy Disclaimer

SmartReceipt does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of extracted receipt data.
You are responsible for verifying information before relying on it for financial or other purposes.

Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property related to SmartReceipt remain the property of the app owner.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App at any time if these terms are violated.

Limitation of Liability

SmartReceipt is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damages resulting from the use of the App.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
